goodbye 2021 and my 2022 goals

Updated: Oct 30, 2023

Closing out 2021 and setting my intentions for 2022

First if you haven’t read my blog of “What 2021 Has Given to Me that is the place to start.

Lessons… this really comes in strong as I sit to write. So many lessons I learned this year, and still learning.

The best way to look at this is re-reading my journal for the last week of December. Wow I love looking back and seeing things I wanted to work on and what has come to fruition. Also, somethings that are still in progress or maybe I have fallen off track with, maybe even things or ideas that just no longer serve me on my journey today.

If you don’t journal, I highly recommend it. Here are a few reasons.

It can help you focus your thoughts, feelings also something that inspires you to be or do better. Studies show It can help with anxiety, depression, or even anger. You can write your hopes, wishes, dreams. Remember the law of attraction.

It can help you process things. You can look back and see how far you have come or things you still want to do or learn. You can keep special memories, can keep track of books you’ve read, recipes you love, restaurants, places you’ve been to really anything to document how you’re feeling or what you’re doing.

Tips. I find it helpful to have a journal you love not too big or small and also a pen you love to write with. Here are my favorites

2022 I will continue to have a morning practice of meditation, reading and journaling. My Selfcare time.

Reading 1-2 books a month is my goal. Here are a few on my list this year

If you have any book recommendations, please let me know.

Vision board. Call it the law of attraction or manifesting it’s all key to putting it out in the universe of what you want.

Tip: You can create it on Pinterest (this is what I do and then print a picture of the board to hang at my desk where I write. I also write my vows or agreements to myself on the copy. As well as keep copy in my journal) or you can go old school poster board with pictures from magazines.

There is even a 10-day course on Insight Timer I highly recommend called VISION BOARD: Find your purpose & achieve your goals.

What I wish for YOU in 2022…

Time… I hope you take time for yourself in 2022 to learn, grow, and love yourself. We all have time and we get to choose who and how we want to spend it. Remember no one is too busy for what they want to do. We all make time for what’s important to US.

Happy 2022 can wait to see what the universe has in store for me and you!
